We face a hefty infrastructure expense. The two upstairs balconies, one over the bay window on the west and one over the front porch, beneath the tower, need help. Each balcony has a white wooden railing of turned spindles, and ornamented corner posts, a testament to the craftsmanship of the time. Unfortunately, both of these railings have decayed. For safety, the front balcony was removed last fall. To do the required repairs and replacement of parts, it will cost more than $15,000.
